November 1st - Even though the title was already decided there were plenty of items down for decision on the final day. The three-way battle for fourth spot saw Bohemians finish in fourth. A four-one win in Drogheda leaves Alan Reynolds' side and supporters in the ironic position of cheering on Shamrock Rovers in Sunday's cup final to qualify for Europe. If Rovers complete the double then their bitter rivals will get a Conference League qualifiers spot for next summer.

St Patricks Athletic couldn't get the win they needed at Shelbourne so they have to settle for fifth spot and no European football - a dreadful return for a team fancied by many to challenge for the title this season. Former champions Shelbourne have to settle for third place. Derry's one-nil win in Cork confirmed second spot for Tiernan Lynch's side.

At the bottom, Waterford were the unlucky side to finish in the relegation playoff spot. They'll face Bray Wanderers on Friday night in Tolka Park with the winners earning a Premier Division place next season. Galway survived on goal difference after holding Waterford to a draw. Sligo Rovers won two-one in Tallaght to secure their top division status.
